Love In Between.

I give Love In Between (Love Series 1) By Sandi Lynn 4 out of 5 stars.

The book is about Lily running from her past of a cheating fianceè who She happened to find cheating on their wedding day…with her sister and her mother knew. And Luke who she comes to find, but also has a past which was losing his high school sweetheart in an accident.

Luke and Lily’s best friends have their own side stories as well Sam and Gretchen as well as Lucky and Giselle. And then there is Lukes sister Maddie and Brice Charlie whose father is an alcholic and drug addict who makes promises he can’t keep and is never around.

This is definitely a story worth reading. Does Lily and Luke end up together? Something big happens with Giselle and Lucky. What happens with Maddie, Charley and the father? And what happens when tradgedy almost strikes with Sam and Gretchen? Read this, you won’t regret it.

Scrappy Little Nobody.

I give Scrappy Little Nobody By Anna Kendrick 5 out of 5 stars.

When I read someone’s autobiography, I really have to like them. I chose to read Anna’s because I enjoy her movies and I think she’s hilarious!

She did not disappoint in her book. This of course is her story in how she got started from theater to the big screen. But she is also hilarious!

If your a fan of Anna’s, read this. If your not a fan, read this and you’ll be fan.

Beautiful.

I give Beautiful By Christina Lauren 3 out of 5 stars. I rated this book a 3 out of 5 because I thought the other books in the series were better, but I still loved the book!

Beautiful is the tenth and final book in the Beautiful Series. I love the series. It surrounds a group of friends, each with a love story of their own.

Beautiful is about Jensen and Pippa. They meet in an airplane, where Jensen is traveling back home after a business trip and Pippa is going for a holiday.  Pippa spends the trip drunkenly telling Jensen her whole life story, so much so that he feigns sleep the last leg of the trip.

Unbeknownst to the both of them, Pippa happens to be mutual friends with Jensens friends and they run into each other again at a birthday party while Jensen is telling his sister about the horibme girl he say next to on the plane.

Pippa is just this fun spirited girl. She is going on a two week road trip with Jensen’s sister Hannah and her husband Will as well as her friend Ruby and her husband Niall. Hannah as talked Jensen into going as he is a work aholic and never takes a vacation.

On this trip they run I to Jensen’s ex-wife, yes, ex-wife and he and Pippa pretend to be married. So what happens when your the two non married couple in a trip? Do feelings develop? I bet they do. And what happens when Pippa goes back to London?

Definitely check this out as well as the rest of the series! There are epilouges to the rest of the series at the end of this book as well!

Up in Flames.

Up in Flames By Abbi Glines gets 4 out of 5 stars from me.

Up in Flames is book number thirteen in the Rosemary Beach series. The Rosemary Beach series, read them all. This story is about Nan, she’s a sister, a daughter, an aunt, and many things to many people.

In this book, you see a whole different Nan. The book starts out with her trying to get the attention of Major, who unbeknownst to her is around on a mission.

Nan goes to Vegas where she meets Cope, to her he is Gannon. Gannon is also keeping her under surveillance due to someone in her past. Gannon is a bad boy, he doesn’t care.

Nan falls in love with bad boy Gannon. And in act to always have a piece of him with her, she gets pregnant. What happens when Gannon comes back in the picture? When Nan finds out he is actually Cope and Gannon isn’t real? And what happens when she finds out both Gannon and Major were both working to find out about people in her past.

I really recommend you read the whole Rosemary Beach Series. Nan and her brother and all of their friends and family are co-mingled.

Under the Lights (Field Party 2).

I give Under the Lights (Field Party 2) By Abbi Glines 4 out of 5 stars.

Let’s note that I could binge read Abbi Glines romance/smut books all day everyday.

Under the Lights is the second book in the Field Party series. This book is mainly around Willa, Gunner and Brady.  Willa comes back into town after getting into some trouble, she used to be best friends with Gunner  and Brady and of course she started to develop a crush on Brady and they both started devloping crushes on her before she left town.  Now that she’s back and a teenager, you can be sure that there is still some ‘crushing’ going on.

Brady is the football QB from a good family. Where Gunner comes from a rich family where people may think he has everything he could ever want, but his family life, sucks.

Willa loves with her Nonna on Gunner’s family’s property so of course they are always running into each other.

What happens when Willa trusts Gunner with her past? And when Gunner trust Willa with some huge family secrets.

Be sure to check this one out as Abhi does NOT disappoint!

Two by Two.

I give Two by Two By Nicholas Sparks 3 out of 5 stars.

Let me start off by saying that Nicholas Sparks is one of my all time favorite authors. I have read every one of his books and usually love every one of them.

When I started Two by  Two I could not get into it. I considered not reading anymore of it and finding another book, but I’m glad I didn’t. About the half way point I totally fell in love.

The story is about a couple Russ and Vivian who are raising their little girl London. Russ quits his job to start his own company, but things don’t go as planned and it doesn’t take flight as fast as he thought it would. This causes his Vivian to go out and get a job as she likes to live a high end lifestyle.  Vivian ends up traveling a lot and she and Russ end up splitting.

This to me is where I believe the story finally starts getting good. There is custody battles over London, old loves come into the story, family illnesses. And the reason we all love Nicholas Sparks is again captured by the end of the book.

I do recommend you read it as the end of the book has that Nicholas Sparks twist that we all love.

Everything We Keep.

I give Everything We Keep By Kerry Lonsdale 4 out of 5 stars.

This books is definitely recommended by me. It’s a romance with a little bit of mystery and will definitely hold your interest til the very end.

The story is about Aimee who recently just lost her fianceè, James, but did she really? She’s receiving information from outside sources that he’s alive and she doesn’t feel that he is truly dead, yet she just had a funeral.

As months go on Aimee struggles to move past the weird things that are brought to her attention. At the same time, she met a new guy and has opened a cafe.

And then it happens, James isn’t really dead, but he isn’t quite James either, he’s Carlos.

You won’t regret reading this book and you will definitely want to read it now to find out how this story ends.

The Things We Wish Were True.

I give The Things We Wish Were True By MaryBeth Mayhew Whalen 2 out of 5 stars.

First let me say that at the end of this book there was an author’s note saying how she wrote based off of an almost tragedy that happened in her community. She tells how a little boy almost drowned at their community pool and how it brought their community together. At the end of their boys swim teams season that same little boy went up to collect his trophy and it really brought all of them together even more.

MaryBeth stated how it was that incident and watching that same little boy collect his trophy at the end of the swim season that inspired her to write this story and particularly the one character around him. I love that, truly I do. I just couldn’t get into the story.

As every community does, especially if you live in a small one, everybody knows everybody whether you went to school with them, their kids or your kids go to school with them and this story is no different.

In this book we have Jencey who comes back to town with her two girls, Lance who has his two children, Zell who watches over Cailey, Cutter who is Cailey’s brother and who the story is around, Bryte, Everett, and Christopher.

When Cutter almost drowns and his mom is staying at the hospital with him, Zell an older lady takes Cailey in. This is when we find some of the co-minglings of the characters and the past come undone. I won’t tell you what it is but I will say Zell is connected to Lances wife leaving, Zells son Ty is responsible for Jencey being run out of town years ago, Everett is not the real father and his wife isn’t his first choice and Cailey is a hero.

In all honesty this book was hard for me to get into and a struggle for me to come back to.

I give Leave A Mark by Stephanie Fournet 4 out of 5 stars.

This book is about a girl named Wren who is scarred from her past.  Wren is a tattoo artist and is covered in her own art which kind of tells a story of her life.
